Thanksgiving is my favourite holiday. It is a time for gratitude, reflection and celebration
To be steady while the world spins around you.
The idea that you’ve only succeeded due to luck, and not because of your talent or qualifications.
Start the day by being true to yourself and trust your gut.
DAD: By not being present, we scatter ourselves; and that scattering causes us to look for fulfillment in the wrong places.
DAD: Never. Worrying doesn’t change outcomes. Worrying ruins your day. Worrying distracts you from the work at hand.
DAD: Talk about life, love, meaning, experiences, entrepreneurship. Be inquisitive, learn about people
DAD: Silence helps us to eliminate distractions from our daily life.
DAD: Perfectionists are motivated to make the best choice every time. This can lead to decision paralysis.
Prayer is recognition that we can’t figure out this thing called life, on our own.
DAD: Everyone prays. The peace and love our hearts long for is our unspoken prayer.
DAD: Our basic needs never change. The need to be seen and appreciated, the need to belong and the need for a little love!
DAD: Peace of mind arrives the moment you come to peace with what’s on your mind.
DAD: At the end of each day, breathe deeply, appreciate where you are, and see the value in what you have.
DAD: As you age, you’ll learn to value your time, genuine relationships, meaningful work, and peace of mind
Thinking is valueless, unless it leads to doing.
DAD: Ingratitude is when money only flows inward and never outward.
DAD: Definitely less than 100%. We all have way too much stuff.
